Korba Police is getting success during checking, 9 kg silver and 50 gram gold jewelery worth about Rs 10 lakh seized at the vehicle checking point by Police Station Deepka

Guidelines and guidance were given by Superintendent of Police Jitendra Shukla to stop illegal activities in view of the upcoming assembly elections 2023, on which under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma and City Superintendent of Police Darri Robinson Gudiya Police Station Incharge Deepka Ashwani Rathore today dated 17.10.2023 Deepka staff had gone to Nonbirra Road for vehicle checking.

 That Nonbirra was checking all the incoming and outgoing vehicles by setting up a mobile check post near Pali Road, that a person came from Pali in a Maruti Wagonar car, who was stopped and interrogated.

Who told his name as Chandrakant Soni, father Ajay Soni, age 33 years, resident of Sakin Baloda district Janjgir and on checking the car, about 9 kg silver and about 50 grams gold jewelery worth about Rs 10 lakh was found in the trunk, in respect of which a bill was issued. No bill was presented when asked for.

Due to which, if the said item is suspicious, it can be seized by the witnesses under section 102 of IPC. Due action has been taken under this. Continuous checking is being done to ensure fair and peaceful conduct of the upcoming elections.
