15.087 kg worth about Rs 1050000 seized at vehicle checking point by Hardibazar police station
Guidelines and guidance were given by Superintendent of Police Jitendra Shukla to stop illegal activities in view of the upcoming assembly elections 2023.On which under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma and City Superintendent of Police Darri Robinson Gudiya New Police Station Incharge Hardibazar Nitin Upadhyay today, on 16.10.2023, Hardibazar staff had left for Hardibazar-Baloda Road for vehicle checking.That they were checking all the incoming and outgoing vehicles by setting up a mobile check post near the Khanij Naka barrier on Hardibazar-Baloda road. A person came on a motorcycle from Baloda side and was stopped and interrogated.Who told his name as Suresh Soni, father Lakshminarayan Soni, age 47 years, resident of Sakin Baloda district Janjgir and on checking the trunk of his motor cycle, silver jewelery about 15.087 kg worth about Rs 10,50,000 was found in the trunk, in respect of which a bill was issued. No bill was presented when asked for.Due to which, if the said item is suspicious then the witnesses can be seized under section 102. Due action has been taken under this.
