Hill Korvas pledge to vote, sweep team is making them aware

Voter awareness campaign is being organized in special backward tribal areas, remote rural areas and colleges.

Korba To ensure 100 percent participation of voters in the Assembly Elections-2023, a continuous voter awareness campaign was conducted in Korba district under the direction of Collector and District Election Officer Saurabh Kumar and under the guidance of District Sweep Nodal Officer Vishwadeep. going. Under which, the voter awareness team is organizing various awareness programs in remote forest areas, hilly areas of the district including colleges and schools and encouraging them to vote.
Awareness is being made for 100% participation in voting:-

Under the SVEEP program, a program was organized by the voter awareness team to reach out to the special backward tribes Pahari Korwa, Pando and Birhor tribals living in remote forest areas and make them aware about voting. In the special backward tribe dominated areas of village Chhatasarai, Kadamjharia, Hardimouha, Jambhantha and Sonari, the villagers were motivated to vote in the assembly elections by the voter awareness team. According to Mr. Anil Ratre, in-charge of Voter Awareness Team, various programs are being organized across the district to make voters aware under the SVEEP program. Under which, people of special backward tribes aged 18 years or above living in remote forest areas of the district are also being made aware to ensure their participation in voting.
The importance of voting was explained to the villagers and new voters of Jatga as well as to the newly married women: –

In this series, today a voter awareness program was organized under the SVEEP program in village Jatga and Pasan of Podi-Upora development block of the district. In which the women of the group, rural and new voters as well as newly married voters were told the importance of voting. Everyone pledged to vote 100 percent.
In the programme, voters were asked to vote impartially without being influenced by greed or inducement. During this period, the youth who joined the voter list as new voters after completing 18 years, appeared enthusiastic about voting.
Oath was administered to the students of Kamala Nehru College to participate in the voting:-

Under SVEEP, various programs are being organized in all the schools and colleges of the district to create awareness among the youth about voting. In this sequence, a voter awareness program was organized today at Kamla Nehru College Korba. In the programme, an affidavit was read out to all the students of the college giving detailed information about the utility of voting. Also, a resolution was given to make an important contribution in strengthening democracy.
