Manikpu police action, action taken against security guard who forcibly fired in air with licensed weapon

Within 12 hours, two barrel weapons and an empty cartridge case were seized from the accused and the accused was arrested.

On the directions of Superintendent of Police Jitendra Shukla, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma, City Police Bhushan Ekka and Police Station Incharge Kotwali Rupak Sharma and under the leadership of Outpost Incharge Manikpur Premchand Sahu, the accused security guard who forcibly fired in the air on 26/10/2023. succeeded in arresting.On 26/10/2023, at 1:30 pm, information was received about firing in the air by an unknown person near Ramnagar liquor distillery, which was taken into immediate cognizance and investigation revealed that a top security agency had come to collect cash at Ramnagar liquor distillery. Security guard Rakesh Singh, father Paras Nath Singh, aged 41 years, resident of Bankimongra, under the influence of alcohol, forcibly fired in the air with his licensed two-barreled weapon.

Taking immediate action, the accused was taken into custody from Salora Katghora and two barrel weapons and empty shells were seized from him and a crime under 27 Arms Act and 336 was registered against the accused and the accused was arrested. He will be sent to judicial remand and proceedings are being taken to cancel the license of the accused.
