Accused arrested with illegal drug Ganja
Police got a big success in capturing 3 kg 248 grams of ganja.
KORBA – Superintendent of Police Jitendra Shukla has instructed all police station/post in-charges to take strict action against illegal liquor, ganja and illegal drugs. In the same sequence, Darri Police received information from an informer on 28.03.2023 that Roshni Dubey of Pragati Nagar along with her partner Abhay Kumar Yadav are illegally selling the narcotic drug Ganja by keeping it in their house.
On this information, after informing Superintendent of Police Jitendra Shukla and receiving necessary instructions, after receiving guidance from Additional Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma and Deputy Superintendent of Police Darri Robinson Guriya, the police team under the leadership of Darri police station in-charge Inspector Chaman Singha and Cyber Cell in-charge Korba Sauni Ajay Sonwani. As per the information given by the informer, they reached the spot and surrounded the house near Pragati Nagar Durga Temple.
On enquiry, both of them told their names as Roshni Dubey, father Manoj Dubey, age 20 years, resident of Sakin Pragatinagar Durga Mandir Darri, District Korba, Abhay Kumar Yadav, father Santosh Yadav, age 24 years, resident of Sakin Thakurpara, Baloda Police Station, Baloda District, Janjgir Champa.
Action under Section 20B NDPS Act has been taken against both of them, who were in possession of 03 kg 248 grams of intoxicating substance Ganja worth approximately ₹ 40,000. The accused was duly arrested and presented before the Honorable Court.
