Superintendent of Police Jitendra Shukla had given instructions to take action against illegal activities in view of the upcoming assembly elections, on which, under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Abhishek Verma, Sub Divisional Officer Mr. Katghora Pankaj Thakur, under the leadership of Police Station Incharge Tej Kumar Yadav, today on 21.10. During vehicle checking near Chakchakwa Bypass Main Road Katghora on 2023 Sunil Kumar Sharma, father Kameshwar Sharma, age 50 years, Sakin New Housing Board Colony, Korba police station, Civil Line, Rampur district, Korba, Chhattisgarh, was found transporting cash of Rs 2,90,000 in car number CG 12 BR 9362. In case of not being able to present valid documents regarding the said amount, due action has been taken in front of witnesses under Section 102 Jaffo. Constant checking is being done to ensure fair and peaceful conduct of the upcoming elections.
